Drunk Tank Pink

Shame have announced that their second album ‘Drunk Tank Pink’ will be released 15th January on Dead Oceans.

The band have also shared their second single from the album titled ‘Water in the Well’. The track follows on from the first single ‘Alphabet’ which the band released back in September.

Shame posted the following statement on social media,

“Greetings all.

Today, a day that many feared would never come, a day shrouded in folklore passed through generations, today is the day shame finally have come to deliver the goods.

It is with immense pleasure we announce a new chapter of shame. Our second album ‘Drunk Tank Pink’ will be unearthed on January 15th on Dead Oceans. Produced by James Ford with Forbes’ dad, Lenin, on the cover. He named the band, brought us into the Queens Head and showed us the virtues of experience. Cover shot by Tegen Williams.

Our boiling hot new single ‘Water in the Well’ is now available for you to stream to your hearts’ content.

It’s gutting we’ve been unable to play this new album live before it’s release, so we’ve organised a socially distanced tour across the UK in February. Spanning some of the finest independent venues in the country, this will hopefully give some of you incredibly patient individuals a taste of what’s to come when normality is resumed. Pre-order the album before the 25th Nov for exclusive access to presale tickets.

I don’t charge any publishing fees.

Thank You.
