This Feeling By The Sea returns to Bridlington in 2026
BY THE SEA

This Feeling By The Sea is fast becoming the pilgrimage for indie heads, a seaside escape where the loudest new talents crash into the next wave of future festival killers. For 2026, the weekender rolls back into its spiritual home at Bridlington Spa, taking over the iconic ballroom on April 17th–18th.
Springtime, salt air, and a room full of people who treat guitar music like religion, what’s not to love?
This Feeling founder Mikey Jonns sums it up perfectly:
“Every act on this bill started with us in a grassroots venue… the journey from tiny rooms to the iconic Bridlington Spa makes for the most glorious atmosphere. Tickets are already flying out!”
Friday’s headliners The Lilacs are the ultimate This Feeling success story. The Wigan lads have been fighting their way up the ladder the hard way with big hooks and even bigger hearts. Their EP The ‘The 395 (To Forever)‘ sparked Arctic Monkeys/Courteeners comparisons and they’ve lived up to that hype on the festival circuit, Isle of Wight singalongs, fans spilling out of tents at Y NOT? and even supporting Sting. They’ve just played a sold out Manchester Academy show too… All this before even dropping a debut album is wild.
Frontman Ollie Anglesea says,
“We first played this festival back in 2023, where a lot of you found us. We always said we’d headline it one day and 2026 is that year. Grab a ticket.”
Saturday belongs to The Clause, a band everyone’s been tipping but who properly blew the doors off with their debut album ‘Victim of a Casual Thing‘ heading straight to #1 on the Independent Albums Chart, Top 20 in the UK chart and, for a hot minute even outselling Sabrina Carpenter. From indie-rock anthems to Foals/Bloc Party-ish grooves, the album is wall-to-wall energy. They’ll be warming up for Brid with a 3,000-cap hometown rager at O2 Academy Birmingham.
Pearce Macca calls it:
“Honoured to be headlining the iconic Bridlington Spa. Ridiculous line up.”
And he’s not lying, the rest of Friday is stacked with The Rosadocs bringing arena-ready indie/alt-rock, GIRLBAND! tearing through punk-charged chaos, plus Cruz, The Cavs, The Cases and rising star Hannah Robinson.
Saturday stays just as loaded, The Bracknall storm in off the back of a huge 2025, #3 on the Independent Album Chart with ‘Falling Out Of View‘ and a packed headline slot on the This Feeling stage at Isle of Wight. Crystal Tides keep the adrenaline high with high-octane indie bangers powered by Billy Gregory’s monster vocals. Add The Slates, The Velvet Hands, Montello and Long Island and the day’s a full-blown indie marathon.
New for 2026 is the Sessions stage, a proper up-close introduction to tomorrow’s noise-makers. Friday brings Dirty Blonde and the poetic-chaos brilliance of Fitzroy Holt. Saturday features shimmering trio Breeze, who are able to flip from bluesy reflection to massive hooks in a heartbeat, plus Blackpool’s charismatic chaos-merchant Alright, fresh off the back of their big new single ‘Everlasting’. Be prepared for a full on work out from frontman Joe Darnell.
As always, the weekend is held together by familiar faces, Fenners commanding the room as compere and DJ sets from new-music champions Jericho Keys (Friday) and John Kennedy (Saturday).
This Feeling By The Sea 2026 isn’t just a weekender, it’s a tradition in the making, almost as traditional as fish and chips on the Brid Coast, it’s a seaside celebration of the future of indie.
Two full days packed to the brim with essential new music, running straight from midday chaos to late-night magic and the best bit? It’s an absolute bargain! Weekend tickets are just £50, day tickets are £30 and kids under 12 can get involved for a tenner.
