Dirty Rotten Scum

Cruel Hearts Club have released their fragile love song ‘Dirty Rotten Scum’.

The tune seamlessly combines grunge with indie, if you mix Garbage, Rilo Kiley and The Libertines you will be in the right ballpark. ‘Dirty Rotten Scum’ is produced by The Libertines legend, Carlos Barât and you can see why he was eager to produce the tune, the storytelling has a whiff of The Libertines about it.

Cruel Hearts Club are a three-piece band from London who are bringing ‘girl power’ back to the dirty rotten scum. In a world where festivals are scrutinised about the gender splits on their lineups and with the counter-argument that there are more boy bands around, Cruel Hearts Club are here to boot the doors open for themselves and the other girls in bands. 2021 festival season will heavily feature the trio and they will no doubt produce moshpits to rival any band on any lineup.

Cruel Hearts Club are no strangers to the big stages already having supported Iggy Pop, The Libertines and Sting.

‘Dirty Rotten Scum’ is the fourth single from the girls in the band and their third this year following on from ‘Blame Me Too’, ‘Suck It Up’ and 2019’s ‘Hey Compadre’.

‘Dirty Rotten Scum’ is available now across all of your usual platforms.
