Naked and Blind

Manchester formed band Gathering of Strangers have released their new single ‘Naked and Blind’.

I recently had the pleasure of viewing these live at YANA (You are Not Alone) festival and after witnessing the energy and passion of lead singer Conor on stage I have been excited to see what was next for Gathering of Strangers as they are able to glide from rock to slow pace with ease and I like that alot.

The band’s name alone gives a hint to how the band formed. Having met in BIMM Manchester, these five people got together to form Gathering of Strangers consisting of Conor Rabone (vocals) Tom Wingate (guitar) Bruce Higgs (bass/keys) Andre ilkiw (guitar/bass)

‘Naked and Blind’ follows the single ‘Cherry Red’ which had one of the most catchiest chorus of 2021. ‘Naked and Blind’ has haunting lyrics about being vulnerable that are carried along slowly to the chorus that then takes you to another universe. The tune also has an 80’s vibe, it’s one of them tracks that could play during a critical moment in a cult 80’s movie.

Gathering of Strangers are band that you should definitely be keep an eye on in 2022.
