Miles Kane releases new single ‘Baggio’
One Man Band
Miles Kane has released his second taster of his up and coming album ‘One Man Band’ with his new single and ode to the footballer ‘Baggio’.
‘One Man Band’ is Miles Kane‘s 5th studio album and is due to be released 4th August via Modern Sky Records.

Miles Kane had the following to say about the single and the influence that the footballer Roberto Baggio had on his life,
“I was eight years old when I first saw Baggio on TV, it was during the 1994 World Cup. I was taken back by his presence, his look and his talent”.
“It was the first time I’d seen a man look so different and unique. Seeing Baggio led me to be obsessed with that Italian football team for many years later. They made me want to grow my hair and I think that was the start of getting me obsessed with clothes, fashion and all things Italian. It was the start of me wanting to grow into who I am today,”
Miles also spoke about the new album ‘One Man Band’,
“There was a conscious effort that I wanted to make it super upbeat. I didn’t want any strings. No brass. No piano. I just wanted it to be like what got me into playing guitar. A bit like a song like ‘Inhaler’ on the first album, I wanted that energy again. That was the objective that we had.”
