Noel Gallagher releases lost demo ‘Don’t Stop’ under the name Oasis

Oasis

The Chief, Noel Gallagher has released a lost demo from his Oasis days titled ‘Don’t Stop’, not only has he released it, he has so under the name Oasis.

A post appeared across Noel Gallagher‘s social media telling fans that the tune would be released at midnight and he believed that the track was largely unheard apart from a ropey recording from a soundcheck in Hong Kong. (See tweet below)

‘Don’t Stop’ is a conventional Noel Gallagher ballad, being a demo too, it is stripped back to the bare bones and that’s also when you hear Noel at his most tender vocally.

The soundcheck version from Hong Kong was during Oasis‘ last album ‘Dig Out Your Soul’ tour in 2009, which would have seen ‘Don’t Stop’ possibly appear on the band’s next album if they band didn’t break up the same year in Paris.

‘Don’t Stop’ is available to stream now across all of you usual platforms.
