Fresh from a whirlwind trip across the Atlantic that saw them lighting up official showcases at New York’s New Colossus Festival and SXSW in Texas, Adult Leisure return with ‘View From Our Window‘. A track that proves there’s plenty more fuel left in the tank for one of the UK’s most exciting rising indie outfits.

Following on from the warmly received ‘The Light You Attract‘, the Bristol four-piece continue their knack for pairing big, immersive indie soundscapes with lyrics that hit a little deeper than your average singalong. On the surface, ‘View From Our Window‘ glides along with the effortless confidence we’ve come to expect from Adult Leisure but underneath sits a track rooted in vulnerability, self-reflection and the fears we carry long after childhood.

Built around the idea that our monsters never truly disappear, they simply evolve as we grow older, the single explores the lingering impact of childhood anxieties and the battle between wanting connection while fearing what comes with it. It’s thoughtful songwriting delivered without ever feeling heavy-handed, allowing the band’s trademark atmospheric indie-pop sound to do plenty of the emotional lifting.

Thoughtful, expansive and quietly anthemic, this is a track that lingers long after the final note fades.

Recorded and mixed alongside long-time producer Ollie Searle at Humm Studios before being mastered by legendary engineer John Webber. The track sounds huge, every layer feels purposeful, from the soaring instrumentation to the understated moments that allow the lyrics to breathe, creating a song that feels equally suited to late-night headphones sessions and packed festival fields.

If Adult Leisure‘s debut album ‘The Things You Don’t Know Yet‘ wasn’t already enough evidence that the band are heading in the right direction, then ‘View From Our Window‘ only strengthens the case. With over a million album streams, support from BBC Radio 6 Music, major Spotify playlists, a national TV sync placement and now a worldwide booking deal with WME following their standout SXSW performances, 2026 is shaping up to be another massive year.
