From the dark and into the light Dirty Sterling create a big sound on ‘Tonight My Love‘.

The music builds on its strong bass foundation into a multilayered masterpiece – one of those songs that you get instantly – you feel like you know it after half way through your first listen. You can tell that the band are really enjoying themselves on this song, the saxophone comes in as the final ingredient that puts the sonic icing on a musical cake.

Frontman Mark Donaldson’s lyrics are heartfelt as ever and perfectly delivered and I get the sense he’s buzzing as he writes this song – a coherent statement looking forward to something not back. I’m guessing the Valentine’s Day release is no accident as this is most certainly a love song.

This is definitely going to be a crowd pleasing anthem that their loyal fan base will lap up and it surely gives us a taste of the eagerly awaited new album.
