The Sherlocks Feature In New ŠKODA Advert
~ I Gotta Be Me ~
The Sherlocks, who hail from Bolton upon Dearne but are dubbed as a Sheffield band, have featured in a worldwide advert for the car brand ŠKODA.
The ‘Driven By Something Different’ advert also features Paloma Faith, Lady Leshurr, Alexis Ffrench and The Kingdom Choir. Each artist looks like they are staring in a different music video which also showcases some of the latest ŠKODA models.
Earlier this month The Sherlocks released the advert title track ‘I Gotta Be Me’ but it was unknown at the time that this was a small part of a bigger picture. ‘I Gotta Be Me’ is a track by Sammy Davis, Jr. Who released the track back in 1968.

The Sherlocks released their debut album ‘Live For The Moment’ through Infectious Records back in 2017, with the album debuting at #6 in the official album charts. The Sherlocks have finished their follow-up album. The record was recorded in Liverpool with the frontman from The Coral and now indie band super producer James Skelley.
