The Streets share new track asking ‘Where The Fuck Did April Go’

None of Us Are Getting Out of This Life Alive

The Streets have released another COVID-19 inspired track titled ‘Where The Fuck Did April Go’.

The new track will operate as a B-side to The Streets collaboration with Tame Impala on the recently released tune ‘Call My Phone Thinking I’m Doing Nothing Better’.

I wrote this last week. It’s a weird time isn’t it. We were looking forward to the Summer just like everyone else, festivals and gigs all there, new music, new stage set but this has taken the wind from everyone’s sails and none of us know quite how to cope with it all. I just wrote a tune the same way other people might talk to a therapist.” – Says Mike Skinner.

‘Where The Fuck Did April Go’ will not feature on The Streets up and coming mixtape album release ‘None of Us Are Getting Out of This Life Alive’. The mixtape is scheduled for release on 1st July and will feature collaborations with IDLES, Tame Impala, Ms Banks and many more.

The Streets returned in 2018 for a greatest hits tour dubbed ‘The Darker The Shadow The Brighter The Light’, the tour was Mike Skinner’s first set of gigs with The Streets since the band’s fifth album ‘Computer and Blues’ in 2011. It was originally thought this would be a one-off tour but the band have stayed together and completed another tour in 2019. The 2019 tour saw The Streets broke the record for the most beer drunk during a gig at Brixton Academy… The record they broke was one set by themselves.
