Blackout Problems and Lake Malice release ‘Quicker Than Death’ collab single
Quicker Than Death
With Blackout Problems due to head out on tour next week, the Munich based band have shared latest single ‘Quicker Than Death‘. The release is a collaboration single with one of the tour supports Lake Malice, with the tune being mixed and mastered by Enter Shikari‘s Rou Reynolds.
“In preparation of our upcoming tour we thought it might be great to get to know each other up front and work on a song together,” explain Blackout Problems.
“One that we can put into our sets and represent both bands on the RIOT Tour. It’s a great fit and we’re really looking forward to sharing the stage in 10 countries. The song has been mixed and mastered by one of our favourite artists Rou Reynolds of Enter Shikari which is just another highlight.”
“It’s amazing to have the opportunity to work on a song together without even being in the same country and it was a great creative challenge,” add Lake Malice.
“We didn’t even talk about what we wanted to make. We just started out and since both bands are artistically pretty different the mix led us to something new. It came about really naturally and we love the outcome a lot.”
The tour’s final leg will be a UK run before a homecoming gig Munich.
