Today the Liverpool DJ production duo CamelPhat release their debut album titled ‘Dark Matter’. The album features some very interesting collaborations with Noel Gallagher, Jake Bugg and Yannis Philippakis from Foals.

‘Not Over Yet’ Sees the Oasis chief songwriter Noel Gallagher teaming up with CamelPhat on the dancefloor filler, the kind of track that Noel Gallagher has been trying to write since his album ‘Who Built The Moon’.

In 2018 Noel Gallagher praised the duo on their single ‘Cola’ with the following statement:

“One song that has blown me away is ‘Cola’ by CamelPhat. I wish I’d wrote it.“

Also on the album are Nottingham’s wonder kid Jake Bugg on ‘Be Someone’ and ‘Hypercolour’ is with Yannis Philippakis who is the frontman from indie favourites Foals. See both below.

CamelPhat are doing with ‘Dark Matter’ what The Chemical Brothers have done throughout their career by collaborating with relevant musicians, tailoring the track to the artist and this has produced the most exciting album of the year.
