Supergrass share acoustic video for ‘Caught by the Fuzz’

I Should Coco

Oxford, Britpop and Indie royalty Supergrass have shared an official video for their acoustic version of ‘Caught by the Fuzz’.

The acoustic version in question appeared as a b-side to the ‘Caught by the Fuzz’ single back in 1994.

‘Caught by the Fuzz’ was Supergrass‘ debut single and despite only reaching number 43 in the UK Singles Chart, the track was named number 5 in John Peel’s end of year chart. The following year in 1995, Supergrass released their debut album ‘I Should Coco’, the album hit number 1 in the UK Album Chart.

Friday (15th May) marks 25 years since the release of ‘I Should Coco’ and this is why Supergrass have shared this new, never before seen video which shows the band monkeying around during the album recordings at the famous Sawmills Studio in Cornwall.

Supergrass broke up in 2010 and with no ill-feelings between the members, it always felt like they were going to return at some point.

In September last year, Supergrass reformed to perform at Micheal Eavis’ Pilton Party, after this, more gigs were announced and Supergrass also released the deluxe boxset ‘The Strange Ones: 1994-2008’.
