Travis release new tune ‘Valentine’

10 Songs

Scottish indie band Travis have released the third taste of their new album with the heavier ‘Valentine’.

The band are set to release their 9th album titled ’10 Songs’ on 9th October through BMG. Pre-Order here: https://amzn.to/31VQkyf

‘Valentine’ is the third track to be released from the new album, following on from ‘Kissing in the Wind’ and ‘A Ghost’.

Talking about the new track frontman Fran Healy had the following to say:

Valentine was recorded as a predominately live performance in December 2019 at Rak studios in London. It’s the closest Travis have gotten sonically to our debut album, ‘Good Feeling’. Alex Harvey-esque.

A limited-edition 10’ vinyl of the song, with artwork, etched on the flip side by the acclaimed artist Douglas Gordon, is available to pre-order exclusively on the band’s official store. Fans will also be in with a chance of receiving a specially numbered copy (limited to 300). These will be randomly allocated after purchase.

’10 Songs’ was recorded at RAK Studios in London and is produced by Fran Healy and Robin Bayton (Coldplay and Florence + The Machine.) ’10 Songs’ is described as a mature album which tells about how life comes to love how love can overcome adversity.
