Wolf Alice have shared their new track ‘Smile’. The new tune is the second taste of Wolf Alice’s third album ‘Blue Weekend’ and is a contrast to previous single ‘The Last Man On Earth‘.

‘Blue Weekend’ is set for release 11th June.

Speaking to Annie Mac on Radio 1 tonight, Ellie Rowsell had the following to say,

“It’s about people that make assumptions about you,

“This is one of the songs we wrote thinking that we would play it live.”

Rowsell also revealed in a press release,

“I miss that feeling of singing on stage. It’s like screaming into a pillow or something, you can get away with being nastier. There’s a whole other part of me missing.”

The premiere also came with an official video which once again is directed by Jordan Hemmingway, who the band collaborated with on previous single ‘The Last Man On Earth’.
