Y Not Festival open massive apply to play app

30th JULY – 2nd AUGUST

Y Not Band App 2026 Is Open and You Could Be Playing Alongside The Libertines, Reytons, Two Door Cinema Club and The Streets.

Y Not aren’t hanging about for 2026. With The Libertines, Reytons, Two Door Cinema Club and The Streets already locked in as headliners, the Derbyshire festival has now thrown the gates open on the Y Not Band App 2026 and the prize package is hefty.

Designed to spotlight the next wave of grassroots talent, the Band App gives emerging artists a genuine shot at joining one of the UK’s most stacked festival line-ups, with this year’s bill also featuring Kaiser Chiefs, Dizzee Rascal, The Vaccines, The Enemy, Happy Mondays, Reverend and the Makers, Hard-Fi and plenty more still to come.

Leading the rewards is a serious partnership with Epiphone, offering the overall winner an official Epiphone UK endorsement, a guitar giveaway, 12 months of artist relations support, access to the London showroom, tailored social campaigns and a performance slot at the Gibson Garage London.

That’s before you get to the extras. The winning act will also pick up £500 Pirate Studios credit, paid slots also at Tramlines, Truck Festival and Victorious Festival, an industry showcase with This Feeling, artist mentoring from Charm Factory and pro-level photo and video content captured on site at Y Not itself.

The 2026 judging panel is still under wraps, with announcements coming soon across Y Not’s socials.

Applications close Wednesday 28th January so if you fancy sharing a bill with some of the biggest names in UK music next summer, now’s your move.
