‘We’re On Our Way Now’ sees Noel return to his more traditional guitar sound after experimenting in electro cosmic pop on his third solo album ‘Who Built The Moon?’ and on the EP’s that have filled the gap between 2017 and now.

The Greatest Hits album will feature Noel’s post Oasis tracks with two new tracks including ‘We’re On Our Way Now’ and another new tune titled ‘Flying On The Ground’ also making the tracklist.

Amazingly, every album that Noel Gallagher has written has then gone on to hit number 1 in the UK Album Chart, that’s x7 albums with Oasis starting with 1994’s ‘Definitely Maybe’ through to ‘Dig Out Your Soul’ in 2008. All three of Noel Gallagher‘s solo albums have also gone on to hit the top spot too.

A Noel Gallagher Jools Holland special is set to be aired on 17th May, the show will see Noel perform tunes from his huge back catalogue and also tell the stories which have shaped the career of Gallagher, these will include the infamous scissor player Charlotte Marionneau moment which also took place on Jools Holland during the performance of ‘She Taught Me How To Fly’.

Noel described the moment as “Cutting the final threads of Liam’s sanity.
