The Snuts release their second tune in a week with ‘Always’

Always

‘Always’ is the second tune that The Snuts have shared in the past week following on from Sunday’s release of ‘That’s All It Is’.

The new tune is accompanied by a live video filmed in the Leith Theatre in Edinburgh. The Snuts have requested that their budget for the filming of the video should instead be used to support the live music industry and also to their crew who have fallen on troubling times because of the pandemic.

Frontman Jack Cochrane had the following to say about ‘Always’:

Lyrically, the song depicts the message of falling in love with someone who in
turn allows you to love yourself; quite arguably, one of the most difficult things to try
and do these days.

The Snuts have been mega busy in 2020 despite the COVID situation. ‘Mixtape E.P’ was released earlier in the year and the ‘Elephants’ single followed shortly after. The Snuts also managed to play a couple of gigs supporting The Libertines at their social distance gigs in Newcastle. If you watch TV you would have also seen the band on the Strongbow ‘Refreshing The Nation’ advert performing their brilliant cover of The Lovin’ Spoonful‘s mega-hit ‘Summer in the City’.

2021 is already shaping up to be another big year for The Snuts, the band were recently announced as one of the support bands along with The CribsThe CoralTim Burgess and The Skinner Brothers for the comeback gig from The Music at Temple Newsam on Leeds.
