Brum mob The Twang have released their second surprise single of the year with the brilliant and shoegaze inspired ‘Fish in a Barrel’.
The new single is the third release from the band this year, ‘Fish in a Barrel’ has been released in the same way previous single ‘You On My Shoulders’ was also released, both with very little warning before the drops. The Twang also released a very special acoustic E.P earlier in the year titled ‘Amsterdam’.

Last year saw The Twang release their fifth album ‘If Confronted Just Go Mad’. The brilliantly titled album was the first with a reshuffled pack after the departure of Martin Saunders which lead to the girls Cat Mctigue and Rio Hellyer joining the lads.

The Twang are due to play a hometown, outdoor and socially distanced, acoustic gig this Sunday at The British Oak in Birmingham.
‘A Month of Sunday’s’ acoustic tour has been pushed back again due to COVID. The Twang would have already played the Birmingham leg of this tour but now the dates have been rescheduled for May and June 2021.
