Lead singer Paul Smith describes the upbeat single as a love song.

It’s also about domesticity and family life being valid subject matter for a pop song. The more intimate verses are bits of advice to someone who has changed your perspective on life. Big themes!

The video to accompany the single has many influences to reflect the feel of the single Smith explains

Both the quiet verses and the anthemic choruses are reflected (pun intended) in the video, which was influenced by an intimate film of Arthur Russell playing cello, as well as Bruce Lee flighting within a hall of mirrors in Enter The Dragon!

‘All Of Me’ is definitely an injection of good feels and energy that we need to kickstart 2021… Showing off Paul Smith’s complete passion in delivering his lyrics which makes his frontman deliverence hypnotic.

In a recent Q and A on YouTube, Smith explained that he wanted it to be a big pop song to kick off the album, this single definitely has that feel-good pop song factor that is sought after at present.

Maxïmo Park have a full schedule of gigs booked in, some are album launch shows, socially distances shows and hopefully full-on gigs too. See the dates below.
